A collection of articles looking at over one hundred and fifty years of intra-regional migration and its impact on major Caribbean and Latin American life using as its source the cumulative proceedings of seven annual seminars on the migration experience between the Anglophone Caribbean and seven Spanish-speaking countries (Panama, Cuba, Costa Rica, Columbia, Nicaragua, Belize and Honduras as well as francophone Haiti). The seminars were organized by the Latin American-Caribbean Centre (LACC) at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus in Jamaica.
